I live in my house alone. Because my mother suddenly went back to her house yesterday. My father had a pain in the abdomen and visited a hospital in midnight day before yesterday. It had lasted during yesterday. He had kept my mother away from their home in Okinawa for the serious covid-19 epidemic at the region. However, his physical condition suddenly became worse. For the reason he finally called my mother and asked her to come back to their house. She got the call from him around half past 16 p.m. and she left my house almost quarter past 17 p.m. To catch last flight from Tokyo to Naha, she departed in a great hurry. I accompanied with her as far as the nearest train station. After seeing off, I went back to my house alone and ate the dinner which my mother made before she left. Many bad things happened our relatives recently. I hope my parents will be good.
Delay
Official new information about Twisted Wonderland arrived this evening. According to the announce, the release of the new event “Wish upon a star” and the new story “An oppressor of beauty” will be late. The original schedule, the event is around the middle and the story is last 10 days of August. Revised one, former is last 10 days of August and latter is the middle of the September. I gathered from the outline of “Wish upon a star” that it would be published in July. Because the story is associated with Tanabata, Japanese traditional event in July. The previous event “Ghost Marriage” reminds me “June Bride”. The event was put on view with several weeks delay in July.
I don’t mind to wait the release. However, the office needs to be reexamined the schedule as a company. They not only offer us an amusement, but also are an organization consisting of many people. The deadline should be set the day they can meet. To set impossible schedule makes no one happy including customer. To have this idea is important when one doing something. There is no problem to wait for me this time. I hope this problem will be solved until next story or event.
What is “genuine”?
The phrase used “genuine” sometimes arouses me antipathy. For example, “a genuine affection”, “a genuine intelligence”, “a genuine delicious beef” and so on. The things they have standards to judge genuine or not are excluded, such as “a genuine diamond” or “a genuine antique”.
Why it makes me unpleasant? What is the difference between a genuine intelligence and a genuine diamond? The answer is social consent. Regarding diamonds, there are the standard definitely to judge it’s genuine or not in our society. On the other hand, “a genuine affection” doesn’t have. If someone talks about a genuine affection, it’s his or her personal view, not social consensus. I don’t have ill feeling just hearing a phrase “a genuine affection” if it’s told as personal opinion. Yet, the phrase often told as if it’s just one right answer.
Once I talked with my colleague about dry Japanese sweets. I said I don’t like them. Then, my colleague said that’s why you hadn’t eaten a genuine. He said genuine dry Japanese sweets made by expensive sugar and it was really tasty. In short, everyone who knew genuine loves it. In his opinion, it depends on one’s experience or knowledge. I felt it included his superiority to me that he knew genuine but I didn’t. On this occasion, it’s not important I knew genuine or not, actually. It’s arrogance wrong impression that just he knew genuine. I sometimes feel this kind of arrogantly in a phrase “genuine”.
By what people should be judged
I met a friend in this weekend. We discussed about by what a person judge. An idea “Anti-lookizm” is that people shouldn’t be judged by their looking. 10 years ago, to judge people by their appearance was as a matter of course. In bookstore, the magazines for women emphasized how to be beautiful and to be beautiful makes people happy. But nowadays people shouldn’t be judged by their looking. So what should we do by what? By their intelligence? Age? Annual income? Property? Kindness? If intelligence, how long does it last? May it be criticized 10 years later? Finally, I came to conclusion, people shouldn’t be judged. People has their own right as they are. Even if they are agley, fool, have no income, have no property and cruel, we shouldn’t make light of them.
I quite frequently look down on a fool person. To looking down someone reminds me a memory of my school days. At that times I had a friend being conspicuous for her beauty. Her boyfriends were also good looking. One day I asked her what kind of topics she talked about with her boyfriend. She said they talked about ugliness of our common friend at her last date. I surprised the good-looking people spoke such things. I had never talked about someone’s ugliness because I wasn’t beautiful. I realized the person who never be criticized could be confidently. To looking down someone may include the arrogance of mine. It’s terrible.
Diary
Just 75 years ago, an atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima came around. People offered a minute of silence at exactly 8:15 a.m. and the annual peace ceremony was hold. This year it has been scaled back because of the coronavirus. Almost 800 people attended. It’s one – tenth of the typical crowds in recent years. Usually survivor, relatives, dignitaries and students from all over the world attend it. I saw the tweet by Turkish embassy that the Turkey Ambassador to Japan was visiting Hiroshima. The city I lived when I was child selected some children sent to Hiroshima to join the ceremony. Once I heard from my friend from Hiroshima that when she was elementary school student, students have to go the school in spite of during summer vacation for pray and think about peace. I think this day is special and solemn day for Japanese.
Since I have absorbed in the game Twisted Wonderland, I often read fan art about it. My favorite genre is called “dream”. It’s the type of the story which the heroine falls love with some characters. Fans makes personality of heroine by themselves because heroine doesn’t have it in the game. Usually it is innocent and male characters lead her. I likes this kind of story but after I read “Chainsaw man” I hope to read about the heroine like Makima. If Makima was said “Welcome to Villain’s world”, she may say “Thank you, I’m Satan” She is such kind of woman. In the love scenes she may lead male characters.

Tabloid TV show
Since I was back to Japan, I have gotten the opportunity to watch TV program in the day time occasionally. Before I lived in Istanbul, I had worked and I didn’t have TV in my flat. Since I had been living without TV for long time, I don’t have the custom to turn on TV without reason. But now the fact there is a TV makes me watching it once in a while.
After I started to watch TV, I realize a thing. The casts who join the tabloid TV shows are extremely lazy. They often say inaccurate things. And what was even worse, in such times they behave as if they were a kind of expert.
Today, I watched a program. The casts talked about the expense of the countermeasure against covid-19. Some measures to pay the cost was given from the program, for example, issuing the government bonds. A comedian said “I don’t understand about finance. I think Japanese government should print new bills and distribute them.” Is it just kidding as a comedian? Or is she want to makes Japan like Zimbabwe or Germany just after WWⅠ? But to my surprise, the emcee told her “That’s right, what you suggest is same as what already suggested here.” I couldn’t understand which point is same to issue new bills and bonds. Couldn't he distinguish the difference? Why didn’t he explain how it would be in the case issuing the new notes for distribution? If he couldn’t, why other experts? It's really silly.
Diary
One month has passed since the huge flood in Kumamoto. During a month, rainy season finished. But my grand aunt hasn’t been found yet. In Ashikita, one of the cities suffered a great deal of damage, people offered a moment of silent prayer for the victims yesterday. My uncle and his family visited their and my grand aunt’s house and did it there. They gave an interview of NHK. It was broadcasted nation widely at NHK evening news. I wonder how many times I saw their interviews at the TV news, internet and newspaper since the day. The person who stayed next room at the hotel when we stayed Kumamoto just after the flood also appeared at the news. The persons who stayed the hotel were the group who lost their relatives.
At night, I saw an advertisement of special TV program about the memorial of end of World war Ⅱ. In Japan, August 15 is the day of the WWⅡ finished. For the reason, the TV program about the war increase in August. NHK will broadcast the program about Anne Frank, this year. She would be 91 years old if she had been alive. My grand aunt is 90 years old if she were alive. The period of the WWⅡ and Anne isn’t far from our period.
